After 1,400 Years, the Ummah Finally Has What It Was Missing.

"I grew up between two worlds — and neither one made supplements for me."

Assalamu alaikum. My name is Ahmad. I'm 22 years old, a student, and the founder of MyIslam.

I was born in Germany. My parents came from Pakistan. Like a lot of brothers and sisters reading this, I grew up between two worlds — one foot in the West, one foot in the Deen our parents brought with them.

And like most Muslims living in the West, I wanted to take care of my body. I went to the gym. I tried to eat clean. And I tried supplement after supplement.

Whey protein. Multivitamins. Omega-3. Black seed oil capsules. Pre-workouts.

I'd stand in those big Western supplement stores, flipping the bottles around, reading ingredient lists three, four, five times — looking for that one word every Muslim has learned to fear:

Gelatin.

Because here's the truth most brands won't tell you:

It's in the capsules. It's in the gummies. It's in the coating of half the multivitamins on the shelf. And the worst part? Most brands won't even tell you which animal it came from. They just write "gelatin" — and hope you don't ask.

I asked.

I emailed brand after brand. Half didn't reply. The ones that did gave me corporate non-answers. The few that called themselves "halal" couldn't show me a certificate when I asked for one. And the ones that did have a halal label? Most of them were just slapping it on the box — no real certification behind it.

I remember standing in my kitchen in Germany one night, looking at three different bottles on the counter — all things I'd been putting in my body for months — and realizing I had no idea if any of them were actually halal.

That was the moment I stopped trusting the industry.

So I built what didn't exist.

I'm not a doctor. I'm not a pharma executive. I'm a 22-year-old Muslim student who got tired of being treated like an afterthought by an industry that takes our money but ignores our Deen. So I did what no one else was doing.

A supplement made the way it should have been made from day one — by a Muslim, for the Ummah. No haram ingredients. No vague labels. No "trust us, bro." A halal certificate you can actually see. A formula rooted in what our Prophet ﷺ already told us 1,400 years ago.

Made for brothers and sisters who grew up like me — in the West, but with our Deen in our hearts. For our parents who deserve clean supplements in their later years. For our children, so they never have to read an ingredient list with fear.
